SHANG, Litao
Shang Litao, a full-time lawyer at Gaodun Law Firm in Beijing, has long been engaged in representing the inheritance cases of rural homesteads in Beijing. She provides specialized legal services for rural housing demolition and relocation, as well as non capital function relocation projects in Beijing, and is familiar with rural residential demolition and relocation policies and non residential relocation policies. Lawyer Shang has long been rooted at the grassroots level and has worked part-time as an "expert people's mediator" in several grassroots rural areas in Beijing. He has successfully mediated hundreds of various disputes and contributed important strength to the "legal services for villages, communities, and businesses" in Beijing.

Over the past decade of practice, I have represented nearly a thousand civil and commercial litigation and non litigation cases, with rich practical experience in handling housing disputes. For example, I have a large number of effective court judgments for parties to refer to in disputes related to demolition and resettlement housing division, property inheritance, property sales, property gifts, marital property, rural homestead land, and real estate. Some of the litigation cases handled have been reported by media columns such as the Rule of Law, and the non litigation cases involved in handling, such as the influential 11/19 fire incident, 1/24 fire incident, and 12.13 fire incident in Beijing, have been unanimously recognized and praised by the accident handling team and achieved good social results.

Partial litigation cases represented:

1. The case of Guan v. Zhang et al.'s family division dispute was retried, and Guan was represented to apply for retrial. The High Court accepted Guan's appeal and instructed the Intermediate Court to retry the case. Finally, the Intermediate Court revoked the first and second instance judgments and remanded the case for retrial.

2. In the divorce dispute appeal case between Shen and Wang, the Beijing Procuratorate supported Shen and provided an appeal opinion. The High Court ordered the Intermediate People's Court to retry the case and represented Wang in accepting the appeal. In the end, the Procuratorate's appeal opinion was not established, and the second instance judgment was upheld in this case.

3. Zhao sued Wang in the second instance of a rural housing sales dispute, and represented the appellant Zhao in filing an appeal to the second instance court. The second instance court accepted Zhao's appeal opinion, and ultimately revoked all the first instance judgments and supported Zhao's entire claims.

4. Yang sued Chen in the second instance of the family division dispute, and represented the appellant Yang in filing an appeal to the second instance court. The second instance court accepted Yang's appeal opinion, and ultimately revoked all the first instance judgments and rejected all of Chen's claims.

5. In the second instance of the family division dispute between Lu and Hou, the appellant Lu filed an appeal on behalf of Lu to the second instance court. The second instance court accepted Lu's appeal opinion, and ultimately revoked the first instance judgment and remanded it back to the first instance court for retrial. After the retrial, the first instance court made a judgment in favor of Lu.

6. Huo sued Zhang, a company in Beijing, and Lin for their right to life, health, and physical health disputes in the second instance. He represented the appellant Huo in filing an appeal to the second instance court, which adopted Huo's appeal opinion. In the end, the second instance court revoked the first instance judgment and revised it, resulting in a several fold increase in compensation compared to the first instance.

7. Gu filed a second instance lawsuit against Xiang and a Beijing company for a dispute over the liability of labor providers. Gu acted as the appellant and appealed to the second instance court. The second instance court adopted Xiang's main appeal opinion and ultimately overturned the first instance judgment, sentencing Xiang and a Beijing company to jointly compensate Gu for related losses.

8. In the second instance of a labor dispute between a company in Beijing and Yan, the appellant, a company in Beijing, filed an appeal on behalf of the appellant to the second instance court. The second instance court adopted the main appeal opinions of the company in Beijing, and ultimately overturned most of the first instance judgment and made a revision.

9. Wang sued Shen for a property dispute after divorce, representing Wang in the lawsuit. The first instance court ruled in favor of Wang's over 8 million yuan equity discount, while the second instance upheld the original judgment. The high court rejected the retrial.

10. The case of Fu et al. suing Wang for a private lending dispute, where Fu et al. sued Wang for nearly 50 million principal and interest, and represented Wang in responding to the lawsuit. The first instance court ruled to reject all of Fu et al.'s claims, the second instance upheld the original judgment, and the high court rejected the retrial.

11. The dispute case of Li et al. v. Wang et al. for revocation of the third party's lawsuit, Li et al. filed a lawsuit requesting the revocation of the effective judgment and demanded that Wang assume tens of millions of repayment obligations, representing Wang in responding to the lawsuit. The Intermediate People's Court ruled to reject Li et al.'s lawsuit, the High Court upheld the Intermediate People's Court's ruling, and the Supreme Court rejected the retrial.

12. A construction company in Beijing sued a real estate company for a construction project contract dispute, representing the construction company to sue for nearly 50 million yuan in project funds. After several court hearings, the real estate company voluntarily fulfilled the project funds under pressure.
